Miguel Dicent (ex Metros) agreed terms with Sao Jose

Sao Jose dos Campos (CBC League) inked 27-year old Dominican 190cm guard Miguel Dicent (college: Morehead State), agency: BMS Sport Agency for upcoming season. Dicent played last summer at Metros in LNB league in Dominican Republic. In 14 games he recorded 5.5ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.1apg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic TBS Honorable Mention. Dicent also played for Bameso (TBS) in Dominican Rep. league where in 7 games he averaged 9.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.7apg (top 5) and 1.4spg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic TBS Honorable Mention.
He represented Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) four years ago.
Dicent has played also professionally in Mexico (Santos), Spain and Dominican Republic (San Lazaro, Sameji and Pueblo Nuevo).
He won Dominican Republic LNB championship title in 2017.
Dicent attended Morehead State until 2017 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
His game is described as: Has a great court vision and a first-pass-then-shoot mentality that make him an ideal point guard; knows how to score, however, and can hit a 3 pointer if left open; can become a star player level. He is also a fantastic 1-on-1 defender, with great lateral quickness.
