Minas Belo Horizonte (NBB) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American swingman Darington Hobson (201cm-95kg-87, college: N.Mexico). Hobson played recently at Khouzestan in Iranian Superleague, but left the team earlier this month. In 5 games he had very impressive stats: 18.0ppg, 8.4rpg and 5.4apg this season.
In 2010 he was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (37th overall). The former University of New Mexico standout is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in nine different countries. Hobson tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Atenas), Australia (Illawarra Hawks), China (Guangxi), Greece (Rethymno), Israel (Hapoel Migdal Haemek), Italy (Torino), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and Fort Wayne Mad Ants), Dominican Republic (Metros) and Brazil (Brasilia).
Hobson won D-League championship title in 2015.
