Maringa Basquete (CBC League) agreed terms with 21-year old small forward Jamison Costa (199cm-107kg) for new 2022 season. It is actually his comeback to Maringa as he has played here before. Costa just played at Pinheiros in Brazilian NBB league. NBB was a little too high level for him, where in 5 games he had only 0.4ppg last season. CBC League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played for Pinheiros (NBB). The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. NBB was a little too high level for him, where in 5 games he recorded only 0.4ppg. Costa also played 15 games in where he averaged 4.1ppg and 1.2rpg previous season. He helped them to win the league title.
Costa has played previously for two other teams: Country and Pinheiros B team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-LDB U20 League Honorable Mention back in 2018.
