CBC League Round 1: Tatui/AABT take a leadership position

The Regular Season in CBC League just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Tatui/AABT edged Maringa at home 69-66. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Rafael Castellon (191-1985) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. The former international power forward William Drudi (206-1981) contributed with 8 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Tatui/AABT's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Gustavo Paulino (184-1999) answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for Maringa. Maringa will play next round against strong LSB / B2B trying to get back on the winning streak. Tatui/AABT will try to continue on its current victory against Blumenau at home.
LSB / B2B recorded a loss in Sorocabana. Hosts were defeated by Araraquara 71-59. Marciel Paje Santos (201-1991) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and Gustavo Scaglia chipped in 16 points. At the losing side point guard Guilherme Santos (189-1997) responded with 26 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. An interesting game was also tough home defeat of Blumenau in a game versus LSB / B2B 57-54. Blumenau was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Guilherme Santos nailed 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Emanuel Matias came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds for Blumenau in the defeat. Brusque lost to undefeated Tatui/AABT in a home game 57-64.

Araraquara - Blumenau 79-70

No shocking result in a game when Araraquara beat at home Blumenau 79-70 on Friday. Araraquara made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Guard Lucas Vezarinho (187-1996) nailed 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and Rafael Stabile (196-1988) accounted for 15 points. Guard Gabriel De Oliveira (202-1993) came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and point guard Jeferson Froehlich (193-1991) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Blumenau in the defeat.
