Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Brazilians who are currently playing abroad.

Raul Neto
Raul Neto
#1. This week's number one is former international point guard Raul Neto (185-1992, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Washington Wizards (27-33) in their last game.    #2. Second place goes to former international guard Scott Machado (185-1990, college: Iona, currently plays in Australia). Machado led Cairns Taipans to a victory over the closely-ranked Bullets (6-10) 73-69 in the Australian NBL on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Machado recorded 17 points and added 7 assists in 37 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Cairns Taipans (4-9) are placed second from the bottom (#9) in the NBL. This year Machado averages: 8.4ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.8apg, 2FGP: 41.9%, 3FGP: 20.9% and FT: 82.4% in eight games. He is a naturalized American. Machado played for the Brazilian national team in 18. Strangely he has never played in Brazil.

Fernando Salsamendi
Fernando Salsamendi

Despite Salsamendi's very good performance the fifth-placed Electrico FC (7-11) was badly defeated 85-65 by the lower-ranked Portimonense (#5) in the Places 1-8 group. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Salsamendi also added 8 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Salsamendi has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 17.0ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.2apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 54.6%, 3FGP: 19.0% and FT: 57.5%.
