Caxias do Sul - UniFacisa 64-73

UNIFACISA forced 20 Caxias do Sul turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. American-Panamanian point guard Trevor Gaskins (188-1989, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pro Sports) fired 34 points (!!!) for the winners. The former international Jimmy Oliveira (190-1990) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. UNIFACISA's coach Cesar Guidetti used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Caue Freitas (192-1988) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized French Pedro Mendonca (196-1995) added 14 points respectively for lost side.

American point guard Dontrell Brite (175-1994, college: Mount Olive) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Rafael Hettsheimeir (210-1986) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures.

At the losing side the former international guard Danilo Fuzaro (193-1994) responded with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and American point guard Nate Barnes (182-1990, college: ABU) scored 9 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

American guard Malcolm Miller (201-1991, college: Southern) came up with 22 points and American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (188-1990, college: F&M) added 17 points respectively for Corinthians in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
