Sport/Gloria do Goita (LBF) agreed terms with 26-year old naturalized Dominican forward Maira Harford (184cm-65kg-1995, agency: Interperformances). Harford is the second import player in the roster as Cuban Ineidis Casanova signed here earlier.
It is actually her comeback to Gloria do Goita as she has played here before. She just played at Barakaldo in Spanish LF2 league. In 25 games she had 8.1ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.1apg last season. The last summer she was tested by Sport/Gloria do Goita.
Harford was a member of Brazilian U19 National Team between 20 and 2013.
She has played previously professionally in Croatia (FSV Rijeka) and Brazil (Santo Andre, SESI Araraquara Basquete, Sao Jose and Ituano).
