Vera Cruz Campinas (LBF) landed 27-year old Brazilian-Italian international 182cm small forward Izabella Sangalli. Sangalli is the second foreigner player in the roster as USA Marquita Daniels signed here earlier.
It is actually her comeback to Vera Cruz as she has played here before. She moved there from Jairis in Spanish LF Challenge. In 33 games she averaged 5.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg last season. Sangalli helped them to win the LF Challenge Playoff title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
She was also a member of Brazilian international program for some years. Sangalli played for Brazilian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U19 National Team between 20 and 2013.
She represented Brazil at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) three years ago. Sangalli's team won Gold.
Sangalli has played also professionally in Argentina (Rocamora) and Brazil (Corinthians/Americana, Jaragua and Ituano) and Spain (Cortegada, Ascensores Tresa and Castello).
