Joinville lands Thierry Fernando

Basquete Joinville/AABJ (Catarina) landed 18-year old 184cm guard Thierry Fernando for new season. Fernando played last summer at A.B.A. Araraquara in the CBB. CBB was a little too high level for him, where in 8 games he averaged just 0.6ppg. Catarina will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
Fernando has played previously for Blumenau.
