Brito's 45-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

22-year old point guard Matheusinho Brito (184-PG-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Vasco da Gama and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 45 points adding six rebounds and six assists for Vasco da Gama in his team's victory, helping them to crush Uniao Corinthians (#10, 1-4) with 16-point margin 94-78. Vasco da Gama maintains the 2nd position in their group in Brazilian league. They are still close to the very top. Vasco da Gama would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Brito had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. Third place about best performers goes to guard Reynan Santos (192-G-2004) of Franca (#9). Santos got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round.
