19-year old power forward Daniel Lima (204-F/C-2003) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Pinheiros and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Sao Paulo (#5, 3-2) 76-67. It allowed Pinheiros to consolidate first place in the Brazilian league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Pinheiros already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Lima has many years of experience at Pinheiros, through which he has constantly improved. Lima has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 11.6rpg).
Second best performed player last round was Winicius Braga (205-F-2005) of Minas. He is a forward in his first season at Minas. In the last game Braga recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led Minas to another comfortable win outscoring Brasilia (#10, 0-4) 98-57. Despite this victory Minas slide down in the standings to 6th position in Group A. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Braga is one of the most experienced players at Minas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Jose Vitor Policcici (184-G-2001) of Campo Mourao (#8). Policcici showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, ten rebounds and five assists in the last round. Despite Policcici's great performance Campo Mourao lost 61-79 to the higher-ranked Flamengo (#4, 3-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Campo Mourao can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Policcici has individually a great season in Brazil. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.8ppg (5th best) and assists with 4.3apg (8th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
