Basquete Joinville/AABJ (Catarina) confirmed in their roster 31-year old small forward Maxwell Dias (198cm-1991) for new 2022-23 season. Dias played there last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. Dias also played for Ponta Grossa (CBB) where in 13 games he recorded 6.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.0spg in 2021 year. Good season as he was also here named League Player of the Week.
He has played previously for five other teams: Botafogo, Osasco, Brasilia, Indep/Sao Jose and Blackstar.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Brazilian Liga Ouro in 2017. Dias was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Liga Ouro Forward of the Year back in 2017.
