Salatiel Hlawatsch agreed terms with Joinville

Basquete Joinville/AABJ (Catarina) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old 200cm forward Salatiel Hlawatsch for season 2022-23. Hlawatsch played most recently at U.Corinthians in the NBB. NBB was a little too high level for him, where in 10 games he did not score anything and had only 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Catarina will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last summer he was tested by Uniao Corinthians (Carioca).
He has played previously for seven other teams: Botafogo, Sao Jose, Liga Sorocabana de Basquete, Rio Claro, Campinas, Praia and Rio Claro.
Among many awards his team made it to the CBC League Semifinals in 2021. Hlawatsch was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LDB U20 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
