Adyel Borges
Talented Adyel Borges (188-PG-2002) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Paulistano and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 20-year old playmaker had the game-high 35 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Paulistano in his team's victory, helping them to crush Cerrado (#4, 7-4) with 17-point margin 77-60. It allowed Paulistano to consolidate first place in the Brazilian LDB U20. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Paulistano still have not lost a single game, getting all 11 victories. In the team's last game Borges had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Paulistano's top player in his first season with the team. Adyel Borges averages this season 16.9ppg and 6.9rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Eduardo Bersch (188-G-2005) of Franca. Bersch impressed basketball fans with 34 points and 9 rebounds. Of course he led Franca to another comfortable win 90-72 over slightly lower-ranked Vasco da Gama (#8, 4-7) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Franca to move up to 6th position in Group B. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bersch is a newcomer at Franca and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
The third best performed player last round was Gabriel Camargo (194-G-2001) of Uniao Corinthians (#11). Camargo showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Uniao Corinthians, leading his team to a 73-67 win against slightly higher-ranked Rio Claro (#10, 3-8). Uniao Corinthians can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group B. They have rather bad season and 2-9 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Camargo has individually a great season in Brazil. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (5th best). He also has 3.0spg and FGP: 55.9%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
