Caxias do Sul adds Mathias to their roster

Caxias do Sul Basquete (NBB) added to their roster 33-year old center Thiago Mathias (208cm-120kg-1989, college: N.Mexico JC) for season 2022-23. Mathias played last season at Mogi. In 30 NBB games he recorded 9.2ppg, 7.9rpg (#4 in the league) and 1.1apg.
He has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Petrolero) and Brazil (Vivo/Franca, Joinville, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Pinheiros and Paulistano). Mathias was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Honorable Mention in 2016 and 2021.
His team made it to the National League Semifinals in 2017.
He attended New Mexico Junior College until 2008 and it will be his 15th (!!!) season as a professional player.
