Machado is back at Niteroi

Niteroi Basquete (Carioca) signed experienced 40-year old ex-international guard Eduardo Machado (193cm-1982). It is actually his comeback to Rio de Janeiro as he has played here before. Machado played last season at U.Corinthians in the NBB. In 20 games he had 8.1ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.9apg. Carioca will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He was a member of Brazilian Senior National Team back in 2004.
Machado is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Chile (Concepcion), Spain (Menorca) and Venezuela (Guaros de Lara 2nd team and Guaros) and Brazil (Flamengo, Vasco da Gama, Botafogo, Paschoalotto/Bauru and Winner/Limeira). Machado won Carioca League championship title in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Niteroi.
