Bortoluzzi's 20 points and 6 assists give him CBB Player of the Week award

17-year old guard Enzo Bortoluzzi (186-G-2005) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Blumenau and receives a Hoops Agents CBB Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 20 points adding five rebounds and six assists for Blumenau in his team's victory, helping them to crush Osasco (#3, 2-2) with 18-point margin 94-76. Blumenau is placed at 2nd position in Brazilian CBB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Blumenau will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Bortoluzzi just recently signed at Blumenau, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Bortoluzzi has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (8th best: 3.7apg).

Second best performed player last round was Alexsander Vernizz (183-PG-2000) of Praia. He is a guard in his first season at Praia. In the last game Vernizz recorded impressive 16 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Praia to another comfortable win outscoring Pinda (0-4) 83-53. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Vernizz is one of the most experienced players at Praia and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#8). He also recorded 5.7 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Rodrigo Silva (207-C-1987) of league's leader Brusque. Silva scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Brusque, leading his team to a 80-71 win against #4 ranked Araraquara in a game of the week. Brusque started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in Conferencia Chui. Silva turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Silva has a very solid season. In 4 games in Brazil he scored 7.3ppg.
