Leonardo Bispo
Guard Raffael Mencarini (187-G-2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Praia, receiving a Hoops Agents CBB Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, two rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Santos (#3, 4-4) with 23-point margin 86-63. Praia maintains the 2nd position in their group in Brazilian CBB. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Praia will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. Mencarini just recently signed at Praia, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Raffael Mencarini has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 18.8ppg. Mencarini is in league's top in and averages impressive 52.3% FGP and 44.8% from behind 3-point line.
The second best player in last round's games was young Leonardo Bispo (206-F/C-1996) of league's second-best Blumenau. Bispo had a very good evening with 34 points and 6 rebounds. It was enough for Blumenau to edge slightly lower-ranked Osasco (#4, 3-5) 98-96. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Conferencia Chui. Blumenau consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Bispo is a newcomer at Blumenau, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.5ppg (#8). He also registered 5.5 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was another Praia's star - Matheus Weber (195-SF-2000). Weber scored 12 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was another key player of Praia, helping his team with a 86-63 easy win against #3 ranked Santos. Praia needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Conferencia Cadum. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Weber has a very solid season. In 6 games in Brazil he scored 12.2ppg. He also has 5.5rpg, 2.3spg, FGP: 53.6% and 3PT: 42.3%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
