Osasco shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. 24 personal fouls committed by Cruzeiro helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Dalaqua Almentra (182-2000) fired 25 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Gabriel Camargo (194-2001) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Jose Carlos (200-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Matheus Leoni (187-2003) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Cruzeiro players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Santos dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Blumenau's 26. Power forward Dida Pereira (202-1992, college: Sequoias CC) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and point guard Jean Oliveira (177-2001) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Santos' coach Daniel Correa Leque used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Leonardo Cravero (200-2002) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Leonardo Bispo (206-1996) scored 18 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
