Cruzeiro - Sorocabana 80-64

Cruzeiro dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Sorocabana's 20 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Sorocabana 47-33 including a 37-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Jose Carlos (200-1997) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Pedro Lima (191-1987) chipped in 25 points. Cruzeiro's coach Thiago Perez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Adler Ribeiro (180-2000) produced 23 points and point guard Beto Fagundes (188-2000) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side.

Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Dida Pereira (202-1992, college: Sequoias CC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Gustavo Ruiz (190-1995) contributed with 14 points and 9 assists for the winners. Four Santos players scored in double figures. Rafael Stabile (196-1988) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Guilherme Santos (189-1997) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Araraquara.
