Praia Clube/AEDEC U20 team (LDB U20) landed 21-year old 185cm guard Joao De Paula. It is actually his comeback to Praia as he has played here before. De Paula played this summer at Praia in Brazilian CBB league. CBB was a little too high level for him, where in 8 games just recently he averaged only 1.9ppg and 1.0rpg. LDB U20 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played for Praia (Carioca). CBB was a little too high level for him, where in 8 Carioca games he had only 1.9ppg and 1.0rpg.
De Paula has played also professionally for other Brazilian teams like Paulistano, Corinthians.
His team was Runner-Up of CBB League Conferencia Cadum Regular Season 2023.
