Paulistano Sao Paulo U20 team (LDB U20) agreed terms with 21-year old power forward Ruan Miranda (205cm-105kg-2001). Miranda played last season at Cerrado in Brazilian NBB league. In 31 games he had very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.0apg. LDB U20 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times). He also played for Cerrado (NBB) where in 31 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 15.4ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.0apg. Good season as he was also here named League Player of the Week (2 times). Miranda also played 31 games in NBB for the same team last season where he averaged 12.0ppg, 6.9rpg and 1.2bpg in 2021-22 year. Quite impressive season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LDB U20 Player of the Year, Center of the Year and to the All-Star Game.
He has played previously for two other teams: Flamengo and Flamengo. Miranda won Brazilian National League championship title in 2019 and 2021.
