Flamengo signs Didi Louzada

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo (NBB) signed 24-year old Brazilian international guard Didi Louzada (195cm-85kg-1999) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Louzada played last season at Cleveland Charge (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 18 NBA-G-League games he had 8.2ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.9apg.
The previous (2022) summer he played at the Trail Blazers in NBA. But in four games he recorded just 0.3ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.0apg in 2022 year.
In 2019 he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in second round (35 th overall).
He has been also a member of Brazilian international program for some years. Louzada has regularly played for Brazilian senior team since 2018 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2015.
He represented Brazil at the South American Championship U21 in Salta (Argentina) five years ago. Louzada's team won Gold.
Louzada is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Latin America, Australia and of course North America). Louzada has played previously professionally in Australia (Kings), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans), Brazil (Vivo/Franca and Franca), NBA Summer League (New Orleans Pelicans) and NBA G League (Birmingham Squadron).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Australian NBL Regular Season in 2020. He was voted Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Most Improved Player of the Year and was selected to Brazilian All-Star Game back in 2019.
