An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Belo Horizonte. Top-ranked Pinheiros faced 3rd ranked Minas. Guests from Sao Paulo (11-0) defeated host Minas (8-2) 63-45. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Minas. The best player for the winners was naturalized Guinea-Bissau forward Yan Barbosa (204-2001) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Agapy Samoel (203-2003) chipped in 10 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Elvis Viana (189-2002) produced 10 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Pinheiros have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Undefeated leader Paulistano delivered the eleventh consecutive victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Caxias do Sul (8-3) 70-59. Forward Bruno Cardoso (197-2002) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds. Ruan Miranda contributed with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Undefeated Paulistano (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row, which they share with Pinheiros. Bottom-ranked Cerrado (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 71-60 loss to eleventh ranked Mogi (7-4) in Brasilia on Wednesday evening. Flamengo smashed Brasilia in Rio de Janeiro 80-56. Praia won against Sao Jose at home 91-86. Vasco da Gama outscored Coritiba on the opponent's court 76-55.

Cearense - Bauru 47-72

There was no surprise in Fortaleza where 22th ranked Cearense (1-10) was crushed by twelfth ranked Bauru (6-4) 72-47 on Wednesday. Bauru forced 19 Cearense turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Matheus Reis (-2005) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Osmar Ventura (-2004) chipped in 21 points during the contest.
