Cerrado Basquete Brasilia (NBB) added to their roster 21-year old center Andre Barbosa de Abreu (212cm-2002) for new 2023-24 season. Barbosa de Abreu played this summer at Paulistano in the LDB U20. In 14 games just recently he recorded 5.9ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.8apg. He helped them to win the LDB U20 League title. The last season he played at Paulistano where in 26 NBB games he averaged only 2.5ppg and 2.7rpg.
Barbosa de Abreu has played previously professionally also in Spain (Baskonia and Grupo Eleyco Baskonia B team).
Despite young age he had impressive career. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
