Neptune is back at Minas

Minas Belo Horizonte (NBB) agreed terms with 19-year old forward Yuri Neptune (201cm-2003) for new 2023-24 season. It is actually his comeback to Minas as he has played here before. Neptune played this summer at Minas in the LDB U20. He managed to play in three leagues last year. In 16 LDB U20 games just recently he had 12.3ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg. Neptune helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season he played at Minas. But in 13 NBB games he recorded only 1.5ppg and 1.0rpg. He also played 1 game in BCL Americas where he averaged only 2 points.
Neptune has played previously for two other teams: Campinas and Coritiba.
