U.Corinthians land Duane Johnson

Luvix/Uniao Corinthians (NBB) tabbed 32-year old American 201cm forward Duane Johnson (college: ESU, agency: BIG) for new season. Johnson played this summer at Virginia Dream (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In two TBT games just recently he averaged 5.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.5spg. The last season he played at Maccabi Ma'ale Adumim in Israeli National League where in 29 games he had 14.6ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.3apg, 1.4spg and 1.0bpg. He can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention.
Johnson is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Australian and of course North American leagues. Johnson has played previously professionally in Australia (Stingrays), Ireland (Saints), Luxembourg (Black Star and Arantia) and The Basketball Tournament (Sideline Cancer).
He played in the final of The Basketball Tournament in 2020.
Johnson graduated from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2013 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
