Joao Macedo signs at U.Corinthians

Luvix/Uniao Corinthians (NBB) landed 21-year old 202cm small forward Joao Macedo for new season. Macedo played this summer at Sao Paulo Futebol Club U20 team in Brazilian LDB U20. In 9 games just recently he averaged 8.3ppg, 15.4rpg (leader !!!) and 1.1bpg. He helped them to win the CBB League title. Macedo also played for Cruzeiro (CBB). But in 10 games he had only 0.8ppg and 1.8rpg.
He has played previously for four other teams: Botafogo, Sorocabana, Flamengo and Botafogo.
Despite young age he had impressive career. Macedo was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LDB U20 Honorable Mention in 2022.
