BRB/Brasilia (NBB) agreed terms with 23-year old guard Dalaqua Almentra (182cm-85kg-2000) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Almentra played this summer at Basket Osasco in Brazilian Paulista. In 11 CBB games just recently he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.6apg and 1.0spg. 2023-23 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB League Honorable Mention. He also played for Paysandu (Para State Tournament). 2023-23 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB League Honorable Mention.
Almentra has played previously for three other teams: Corinthians, Corinthians and Palmeiras. His team made it to the LDB U20 League Semifinals in 2018 and 2022.
