Wesley Russell joins Sao Jose/Ceap

Sao Jose/Ceap (Local League) has reached an agreement with Wesley Russell, a 30-year-old American guard. Russell, who stands at 193cm and weighs 93kg, was born in 1993 and attended Ohio Christian University. His most recent team was VIPTech Campo Mourao Basquet in the Brazilian Parana league during the 2018-2019 season. However, he has not played professionally for the past four seasons and has taken an extended break from basketball.
He has previously played for two other teams: Botafogo and Brasilia.
The list of past achievements is extensive. In 2019, his team reached the Liga Ouro Semifinals. Additionally, he was voted to the Latinbasket.com Liga Ouro All-Defensive Team in 2018.
He's a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top summer league for players aspiring to play basketball overseas.
He graduated from Ohio Christian University in 2015, and this upcoming season will mark his ninth as a professional player. He has also played for other colleges such as Team Brussels and Team Berlin.
