Campinas keep Rodrigues for another season

Unimed Campinas (Paulista) has re-signed Licinara Rodrigues, a 24-year-old international power forward who stands at 184cm, for the upcoming season. Rodrigues played for the team last season and had a strong performance. In 15 Paulista games, she averaged 11.7 points per game, 6.3 rpg, 1.0 apg, and 1.1 spg. Her contributions helped the team reach the semifinals, and she was recognized as the League Player of the Week. Rodrigues has also played for another Brazilian team, Vera Cruz Campinas.
She has also been a member of the Brazilian international program for several years. She has played regularly for the Brazilian senior team since 2023 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2016.
Last year, Rodrigues represented Brazil at the Panamerican Games for Women in Santiago, Chile. Her team emerged victorious, winning the Gold medal. Rodrigues' individual performance during the event included playing 6 games, with an average of 2.8 points per game and 3.2 rpg.
She has previously played professionally in Portugal (Sportiva) and Brazil (Sao Jose and Ituano). Her team also won the Paulista League Regular Season in 2023.
She was selected for the Brazilian LBF All-Star Game in 2022.
