Botafogo Rio de Janeiro (NBB) has signed Lucao Barbosa, a 24-year-old forward from Brazil. Barbosa previously played for Brusque Basquete/ADB in the Brazilian CBB league and Vitoria in the CBB. In three games, he averaged 2.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
He has played for six other teams previously: Tijuca TC, Sao Jose, Cerrado, Sao Jose, Mesquita/LSB, and Cerrado.
His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season of the Brazilian LDB U20 League Group B in 2021.
