Cerrado inks Daviyon Draper, ex Dorados

Cerrado Basquete Brasilia (NBB) has signed 29-year-old American forward Daviyon Draper (201cm-98kg-1994, college: FIU). Draper most recently played for Dorados in the Mexican LNBP. In 21 games in 2022, he averaged 11.8ppg, 5.0rpg, and 1.1apg. He helped Dorados finish the regular season as the second-best team in the league and advance to the league semifinals. Draper was also tested by Paschoalotto/Bauru.
He's a highly experienced player, having played in five countries across four continents: Europe, Latin America, Africa, and North America. He has previously played professionally for Atenas and Estudiantes Concordia in Argentina, Ifaistos in Greece, ZZ Leiden in Holland, and AS Sale in Morocco.
In 2017, he received the Eurobasket.com All-Dutch Eredivisie Honorable Mention award.
He graduated from Florida International University in 2016, and this will be his eighth season as a professional player. He also played for Antelope Valley College for 2 years.
