The round was exceptionally exciting as three games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

There was a change at the NBB leadership position after last games. Round 13 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Flamengo (17-3). They were defeated by second ranked Minas (17-3) 86-78 on Thursday night. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Flamengo. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Minas made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Argentinian guard Luciano Gonzalez (194-1990) stepped up and scored 20 points and 4 assists for the winners and Argentinian point guard Franco Baralle (185-1999) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Minas' coach Leonardo Costa used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international Gabriel Galvanini (202-1998) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Minas have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Flamengo. Flamengo will play next round against Pato trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Minas will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro.

Botafogo will play next round against Paulistano trying to get back on the winning streak. Minas will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Vasco da Gama at Rio de Janeiro.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Rio de Janeiro: Flamengo (#1) and Vasco da Gama (#4). Flamengo (17-3) won against visiting Vasco da Gama (13-6) 84-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vasco da Gama. Gabriel Galvanini fired 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Rafael Paulichi produced 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Vasco da Gama's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Flamengo. They maintain first place with 17-3 record, which they share with Minas. Newly promoted Vasco da Gama keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with UniFacisa. Flamengo will meet Pato (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Vasco da Gama will play against Pato (#10) in Pato Branco and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: Pato won against Brasilia on the opponent's court 77-65. Sao Paulo unfortunately lost to Bauru in a home game 89-93. Bauru managed to beat Paulistano on the road 66-55. Cerrado was defeated by Pato on its own court 75-82. Sesi Franca beat Sao Paulo in Sao Paulo 98-84. Mogi lost to Pinheiros at home 75-76. Corinthians unfortunately lost to Sao Jose on the opponent's court 70-71. Paulistano was rolled over Sesi Franca in a home game 76-98. Sao Paulo was crushed by UniFacisa on the road 107-84.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists by Vithor Lersch of UniFacisa.




Brasilia - Pato 65-77

Very expected game when 18th ranked Brasilia (3-16) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Pato (9-11) 77-65 on Saturday.
