Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

An interesting game took place in Sao Paulo where higher ranked Paulistano (14-8) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Sao Paulo (10-13) 90-71 on Tuesday. Sao Paulo dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Paulistano's 22 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Paulistano 38-23 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Malcolm Miller (201-1991, college: Southern) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds and center Ralfi Ansaloni (211-1987) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Victor Camilo (203-1997) responded with 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sao Paulo maintains thirteenth position with 10-13 record. Paulistano at the other side dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Bauru. Sao Paulo are looking forward to face higher ranked Pato (#11) in Pato Branco in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pinheiros (10-12) was upset by eighteenth ranked Brasilia (10-12) in Sao Paulo. Brasilia won against higher ranked Pinheiros 92-88. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pinheiros. The winners were led by American guard Thomas Cooper (196-1992, college: Calgary) who scored that evening 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists and Paulo Da Costa supported him with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by Serbian-Portuguese center Sasa Borovnjak (206-1989, college: Penn St., agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Pinheiros. Pinheiros' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Brasilia maintains eighteenth position with 4-18 record. Pinheiros at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 12 games lost. Brasilia will play against higher ranked U.Corinthians (#14) in Santa Cruz do Sul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pinheiros will play at home against Bauru and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Second ranked Flamengo (19-4) crushed at home 15th ranked Caxias do Sul (7-15) by 43 points 105-62, which is the biggest margin this round on Tuesday night. Cerrado was defeated by Corinthians on the road 73-56. Flamengo beat U.Corinthians on its own court 89-71.
