Nadia Colhado agreed terms with Ponta Grossa

LBP newcomer Ponta Grossa Basquete/LDPG has strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 34-year-old ex-international 193cm center Nadia Colhado. Colhado recently played at Sampaio in the Brazilian LBF league but missed the last two seasons and had a longer break from professional basketball.
She was also a member of the Brazilian international program for several years. She played for the Brazilian Senior National Team from 2009 to 2019 and had previously played for the Under 21 National Team in 2007.
Four years ago, Colhado represented Brazil at the South American Championship in Tunja. Her team won the Silver medal, and her individual stats for the tournament were as follows: 5 games played, averaging 6.6 points per game, 4.2 rpg, with a field goal percentage (FGP) of 47.8%, and a free throw percentage (FT-2) of 91.7%.
She has played professionally in France for Flammes, in Spain for IDK Euskotren, Girona, and Gernika, in the WNBA for Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream, in Brazil for Santo Andre, Sao Caetano, Divino/COC/Jundiai, Sao Jose, and Gloria do Goita, and in Ecuador for Universidad Tecnologica Equinoc. Quito.
Her team reached the Spanish LFB Semifinals in 2021. She was selected for the Eurobasket.com Spanish LFB All-Imports Team in 2019.
