Ponta Grossa adds Soares to their roster

Ponta Grossa Basquete (Parana) has added 20-year-old small forward Lucas Soares (199cm-2003) to their roster. Soares is not new to the Brazilian League, as he played for Praia in the Brazilian LDB U20 last season. In 16 games, he averaged just 2.1ppg and 1.3rpg. However, playing for Parana will likely provide him with a better opportunity and more playing time. Soares has also played for another Brazilian team, Osasco (CBB).
He has previously played for three other teams: Corinthians, Corinthians, and Flamengo.
His team finished as the Runner-Up in the LDB U20 League Group B Regular Season 2023.
