Basquete Blumenau/APAB (CBB) signed 26-year-old Brazilian 201cm power forward Joao Mamedes. He most recently played at Union Cultural in the Argentinian Regional League. Last season, he played for Ponta Grossa in Parana.
He has played for 8 other Brazilian teams: Pinheiros, Macae, Sorocabana, Londrina, Basquete Tatui/AABT, Blackstar, Pinheiros, and Sao Paulo.
He has played previously for eight other Brazilian teams: Pinheiros, Macae, Sorocabana, Londrina, Basquete Tatui/AABT, Blackstar, Pinheiros, and Sao Paulo.
He won the Brazilian LDB U21 League championship title in 2018.
