The visitors from Pato Branco managed to secure only two-point victory 77-75. However their fans expected easier game. Pato maintains twelfth place with 16-19 record. There were no big surprises in other games of round 29: Sesi Franca smashed Cerrado on the road 95-70. Bottom-ranked Brasilia was destroyed by UniFacisa on its own court 83-102. Corinthians outscored Botafogo in Sao Paulo 116-72. Mogi managed to beat Paulistano at home 64-61. Sao Paulo was defeated by Sao Jose on the opponent's court 72-63. Cerrado was beaten by UniFacisa in a home game 84-90. Pinheiros was destroyed by Botafogo on the road 93-69. Caxias do Sul unfortunately lost to Minas on its own court 88-99.
The most impressive performance of 29th round was 29 points and 7 assists by Kenny Dawkins of Caxias do Sul.
