Basket Osasco (CBB) tabbed 23-year old 182cm guard Dalaqua Almentra. It is actually his comeback to Osasco as he has played here before. Almentra played recently at BRB/Brasilia (NBB)the team from Osasco. In 36 games he averaged 7.9ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1spg last season. CBB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The most of last summer he spent at Basket Osasco where in 11 CBB games he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.6apg and 1.0spg. He can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB League Honorable Mention. Almentra also played for Paysandu (Para State Tournament). A very impressive season as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian CBB League Honorable Mention.
He has played previously for three other teams: Corinthians, Corinthians and Palmeiras.
