Everton Gomes claims Brazilian CBB weekly honour

Everton Gomes put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Basket Osasco and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents CBB Player of the Week award for round 7.
The had a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out Blumenau (#3, 3-4) 86-84. Osasco maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Brazilian CBB. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Osasco will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. Gomes just recently signed at Osasco, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Everton Gomes averages this season 9.8ppg and 6.5rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Osasco's star - young Uruguayan center Hatila Passos (211-C-1985). Passos impressed basketball fans with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Basket Osasco to edge slightly lower-ranked Blumenau (#3, 3-4) by 2 points 86-84. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Conferencia Macarrao. Osasco consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Passos is one of the most experienced players at Osasco and similarly like Everton Gomes has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Gabriel De Oliveira (202-G-1993) of top-ranked Basquete Santos/Memorial/FUBES.
