CETAF-Vila Velha (LDB U20) landed 22-year old 189cm guard Elvis Viana. Viana played this summer at Basket Osasco in the CBB. In 13 games just recently he averaged 8.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.1apg. LDB U20 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the CBB League title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
Viana represented Brazil at the South American Championship U17 in Santiago (Chile) five years ago. Viana's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 4 games: 8.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 2.0apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 42.1%, 3PT: 50.0%.
He has played previously for six other teams: Sao Jose, Ponta Grossa, Sao Jose, Pinheiros, Minas and Pinheiros B team.
