Pinheiros Sao Paulo U20 team (LDB U20) landed 19-year old 191cm swingman Guilherme Omena. It is actually his comeback to Pinheiros as he has played here before. Omena played most recently at Pinheiros in Brazilian NBB league. NBB was a little too high level for him, where in 13 games he averaged just 0.8ppg last season. LDB U20 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played for Pinheiros (NBB). NBB was a little too high level for him, where in 13 games he had only 0.8ppg.
Omena has played previously for two other teams: Paschoalotto/Bauru and Bauru.
His team won Brazilian LDB U20 League Group B Regular Season in 2023.
