Sport Club Corinthians Paulista U20 team (LDB U20) signed 21-year old point guard Tiago Faria (179cm-73kg-2003). Faria played last season at Pinheiros in the NBB. In 33 games he had 5.6ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.6apg. LDB U20 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He was a member of Brazilian U16 National Team back in 2019.
Faria has played previously professionally also in Portugal (Felgueiras). He won Brazilian LDB U20 League championship title in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
Despite young age he had impressive career. Faria was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LDB U20 Honorable Mention in 2022.
