Paulistano Sao Paulo U20 team (LDB U20) landed 22-year old 213cm center Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu. It is actually his comeback to Paulistano as he has played here before. Barbosa de Abreu played most recently at Cerrado in the NBB. In 30 games he averaged 9.8ppg, 7.1rpg (#2 in the league) and 1.2apg last season. LDB U20 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He has played previously professionally also in Spain (Baskonia and Grupo Eleyco Baskonia B team). His team won Brazilian LDB U20 League Group A Regular Season in 2021 and 2023.
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
