Louzada is back at Sesi/Franca

Didi Louzada

Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo (NBB) signed 25-year old international guard Didi Louzada (195cm-94kg-1999) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. It is actually his comeback to Vivo/Franca as he has played there before. He played last season at Flamengo (NBB). In 43 games, he had 10.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.2spg. He helped them win the regular season and reach the final. In 2023-24, he was named to the Brazilian All-Star Game. Louzada also played 10 games in BCL Americas, where he recorded 7.5ppg, 4.5rpg, and 1.6apg. The previous (2022-23) season, he played at Charge in the NBA G League.
In 2019, he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in the second round (35th overall) of the draft.
He has also been a member of the Brazilian international program for some years. Louzada has regularly played for the Brazilian senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 21 National Team in 2018.
He also represented Brazil at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. During this event, he scored an average of 0.7 ppg and had 1.3 rpg.
Louzada is a very experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Latin America, Australia, and North America). Louzada has played previously in Australia (Kings), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers), Australia, NBA Summer League (New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers), and NBA G League (Birmingham Squadron).
He won the Liga Sudamericana championship title in 2018 and was voted Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Most Improved Player of the Year in 2019.
