UniFacisa Paraiba (NBB) inked 24-year old Brazilian 209cm center Sergio Conceicao for upcoming season. Conceicao played this summer at L.Borges in Uruguayan Metropolitan. In 10 games just recently he averaged impressive 19.6ppg, 12.3rpg, 3.7apg, 1.0spg and 2.4bpg. He was also voted League Player of the Week. The last season he played at Vasco da Gama in Brazilian NBB where in 43 games he had 5.9ppg and 3.1rpg.
Conceicao has played previously for five other Brazilian teams: Tijuca TC, Sao Jose, Cerrado, Sao Jose and Cerrado.
Among many awards he was selected to Latinbasket.com Brazilian LDB U20 All-Defensive Team back in 2019.
