Nardi comes back to Sao Jose

Coop/Sao Jose Basketball (NBB) inked experienced 36-year old former international 195cm shooting guard Betinho Nardi for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Sao Jose as he has played here before. Nardi has played for the last two years at Sao Paulo FC in the NBB. In 36 games he recorded 7.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.8apg last season. He also played 4 games in BCL Americas where he averaged 6.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3apg.
Nardi was a member of Brazilian international program for some years. He was called to Brazilian Senior National Team between 2009 and 2011 and previously for U19 National Team in 2007.
Nardi has played also professionally in Greece (Panionios), Italy and Brazil (Minas, Pinheiros, Paulistano, Winner/Limeira and Caxias do Sul). His team made it to the Paulista League Semifinals in 2018 and 2023. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Honorable Mention in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Sao Jose.
