Pinheiros keep Borges for another season

Esporte Clube Pinheiros Sao Paolo (NBB) re-signed 22-year old 190cm guard Adyel Borges for upcoming season. Borges played there last season. In 30 NBB games he averaged 10.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.8apg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Brazilian All-Star Game. The last summer he played at Pinheiros where in 30 games he had 10.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.8apg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Brazilian All-Star Game.
He represented Brazil at the World University Games in Chengdu (China) last year. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 12.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.5apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 47.6%, 3PT: 36.4%, FT: 70.4%.
Borges has played previously for five other teams: Vivo/Franca, Paulistano, Blumenau, Paulistano and Franca. He won Paulista League championship title in 2019 and 2020.
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com Brazilian League All-Defensive Team in 2023.
