Corinthians add Thornton to their roster, ex Centauros

Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (NBB) added to their roster 33-year old American guard Isaac Thornton (194cm-95kg-1991, college: Fairmont State) for season 2024-25. Thornton played this summer at Centauros in Venezuelan SPB league. In 16 games just recently he recorded very impressive stats: 17.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.9apg. The last season he played at Botafogo in Brazilian NBB where in 32 games he was the best scorer with remarkable 21.7ppg and had 4.1rpg and 2.9apg. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Brazilian All-Star Game, All-Imports Team and Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Third Team.
He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ciclista) and Brazil (Macae, Campo Mourao, Cerrado and Pato).
His team made it to the Liga Ouro Semifinals in 2018.
Thornton graduated from Fairmont State in 2013 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
